My Heart

My Heart

I fear my heart will break in two,
If I no longer hear from you.
I fear my heart will break in three,
If you don't feel the same about me.
I fear my heart will break in four,
If you want me no more.
I fear my heart will break in five,
If you no longer want me alive.
When my heart breaks in two,
I will try once more to love you.
When my heart breaks in three,
I'll understand you won't want to be with me.
When my heart breaks in four,
In your face I'll shut the door,
But when my heart breaks in five,
I'll thank God I'm still alive.

its an unusual piece i was drawn in to breaking your heart from 1 to 5 pieces the a great turnaround ,you came in with a fire at number 4  shutting the door   and finally 5  being alive which ended the poem brilliant.great write stephanie    tina x

Thank-you. I didn't want to say I wish I weren't alive.

Thank-you all a lot. Y'all's support is helping me gain the confidence I need to continue entering my poetry in contests. I write most every day and I've been writing since I could rhyme.
