My heart of hearts 💕

As I listen thru a small seashell hole it overwhelms me

Tho my dwelling place is the countryside far away from the sandy coast

I can honestly say in my heart of hearts that I love the coast the most

Born bred and raisied as a fisherman’s youngest child

Spending all my childhood days amidst the wind-swept shores beguiled

Running along the beautiful beaches, kicking up the silky sands

Building brilliant sand castles with bucket and spades in my hands

Just to feel the warm sensation in the summer on my skin

Giving it a sun-kissed seaside glow, an inner-sense of spirituality within

No matter whatever lies beyond the bounds of my destination

I shall return forever and a day to the comfort of my oceanic  emancipation

At one with Mother nature, betwixt the blue, salty brine

Those special shores I call my homeland, my heavenly shrine

As sure as the westerly wind blows it’s serenity from the sea
