My Heavenly Place By Jayne Davies

My Heavenly Place By Jayne Davies

The bees and the butterflies mingled,
On that beautiful summers day,
The sky as blue as the ocean,
Not a single cloud got in the way,
The daisies invited the sunshine,
To glow on their petals so white,
And there in the wonderful garden,
Opened up with a burst of delight,
Some birds flocked, just right by the river,
Their calls of excitement were heard,
Then swooped with incredible vigour,
A wonderful gathering of birds.
A day spent so fine,
In that garden of mine,
For there’s nothing more special than that,
A grand little haven,
To enjoy and love,
To nature, I take off my hat.
