MY HIDING PLACE
My sacred place, my sanctuary
A secret place within my heart
It's where I run, when I'm afraid
When my world is falling apart
Within myself, I talk with God
For He is always there
He gives me peace, amidst the storm
He listens to my prayers
He comforts me
He gives me rest
He strengthens me
To be my best
Though troubles be on every side
Within my heart, there's peace
He holds and keeps me close to Him
Until my troubles, cease
This hiding place within my heart
I never have to fear
No matter what's happening around me
In my heart, He's always near
