My Inner stifle

I'm in pain
Red hot tip in my vein
I want to make it go away
but it wants to stay 
clinging to my life force
screaming till it makes me hoarse 
but that's on the inside,
I haven't once cried 
Outside.

Scrawls, angry scrawls 
all across the walls 
trapped in a room in my head 
where all the darkness is fed 
the key is nowhere to be found 
my scribbles cover all the ground 
deep slashes inked across the ceiling 
My outside calm without a feeling
