Poem -

My Love

My Love

There she was.
Beautiful.
She glowed just like the sun.
Yet had a cloud around her mind.
She was broken.
Every man that she thought gave her joy.
Gave her the opposite.
They used her like a doll.
They took her innocence.
They said they loved her.
But all they wanted.
Was her shape.
Not her love.
Not her.
Not who she was.
Just her soul case.
But what she carried inside.
Was brokenness.
Before it was everything wonderful.
Yet they changed her state of mind.
But When I saw her.
I didn’t want just that.
I wanted to hold her.
Let her cry on my shoulder.
And give her all the love I have.
All that love is for her.
I walked up to her.
I kissed her on the cheek.
She slapped me.
Thinking I would seduce her.
Then I said.
I love you.
She looked at me.
Never being told that she was loved.
She wasn’t aware of how to react.
I held her as she collapsed.
As she shed her tears.
I replaced them with love.
It’s now 5 years later.
She is my one and only.
She is the mother of my kids.
And she.
Will never be left again.
I love her .
And ever sense that emotional day.
She has had such joy on her face.
And so I smile.
And never forget that day.
