My love

As you walk through the forest 
The fresh clean air makes your lungs inflate 
It is like getting  hit with mint after you brush your teeth 
The leaves crunching as you walk
Taken pictures as you go 
Not a care in the world 
As you and your love pass the time 
Waiting for that one day that changes your life forever 
Suffering in silence as you walk the long path 
Your love knowing and stands by you every day knowing what’s to come 
Knowing that you’re not there as if you were gone 

Still fighting it each day not knowing what you will forget 
Trying to come back but you have gone too far for your  own mind to catch up 
As you walk you forget who your love is
 Knowing this makes him very sad and wants to help 
But not knowing what to do 
He says “ I am here for you, I love you” 
Each day goes by as he reminds you 
What you and he once were 
Each day struggling but still fighting strong 
As the days pass you start to forget your family and friends 
Your love tries each day to remind  you of everything and everyone  
 That you knew as your brain slowly deteriorates 
You feel strange as if you don’t know where you are 
As you lay in bed with your love beside you holding your  hand 
As he says “it’s okay I love you” 
The days go by your love puts  your floral teacup on the shelf 
Your Love was prepared for what happened 
His heart was breaking each day 
He says one last time “ I loved you always see you soon my love”
