Another night goes by

Another night goes by hour by hour and not a wink to show for the long day ahead try to calm the demon sitting on my chest. Another night goes minute by minute struggling to think about the good times. The anxiety takes over and there's no more pretending you're here but I can deal with the pain all over again. I beg of you just leave me alone. Huh I say that like it is you here with me with your armor on blocking my way to happiness. But you aren't it's all in my head. Doesn't mean the pain you caused me could ever  heal I dont think it ever will. Another night goes scene by scene of the show. That is what my life is i guess like scenes from movies compiled together. Anxiety starts to die down for now Matilda once again has saved me, here's hoping for some sleep oh wait insomnia kicks in starting to get pissed off now wishing your voice in my head would go away I just want one night of piece to where I wake drenched please for the love of god leave me be.
