Poem -

My Muse

My Muse

You entered my life when I was burdened.
Paper all day but words were what I was yerning.
Writing was once a passion to me.
Scared of my own talent but you set them free.
Your prescence brought out so very much.
I made my words your most defining touch.
The first night together sent my pen a rage.
Until then every deep thought had been locked in a cage.
Out it came
Better than ever with an undescribable aim.
So many different emotions.
My mind a pot, your persona it's potion.
Everything I ever wanted to say flowed onto my pad.
You brought out so much I never knew I had.
Even though your gone i'm still able to write.
Feelings still grow as I piece together at least one night.
You brought back something I thought was gone.
Words still flow but for you I now long.
You may never know what you really did.
Released a talent I tried my best to keep hid.
So to my muse nothing but undying gratitude.
Before you was none, so there will be none after you.
