My nightmare

I saw your face
You made me smile 
A love that was real
"For a while"

I gave up my life
My job , my home
To have ur child
Then I was alone

You changed so quickly
Like Jekyll and hide
You hurt me so much
Id rather died

Day by day
And night by night 
I was always afraid
I new what's in sight

From words to a fist
What did I do wrong
I always forgave you
I did all along

A beautiful boy 
Trapped as well
He shouldn't of heard it
He lived in hell

But as u left I shed a tear
The outcome was no more fear

I stood up tall
For me and my boy 
Never again
Will I ever fall ...
