Iām still running lol ā¦. I swear I have to write a poem about lessons Iāve already learned to really make them stick ā¦ glad Iām not the only one, still making it harder on myself š.Ā
Wise words Rob but can we ever be anything more than what we are genetically programmed to be...more and more I think not...seems to me our decisions are shaped by the confines of who we are...I'm not even sure we are directly responsible given we didn't make ourselves...who knows x
I wondered the same thing as I believed we could not beā¦ what I have experienced is we cannot be if we remain in the same environments those genetics made us be a part of. When I moved away from my family ( half the United States away ) I found myself in a new environment, with new people and found myself free of all the OLD PATRERNS! it was then I realized how much my environment controlled my ability to grow or changeā¦ I think genetics plays a big part as to what we think we accept or what we find comfort in, we have to separate those pre determined genetics, demographics, patterns and search for what we want and desireā¦ I think itās a much harder path while in the same cancerous environments, with the same toxic people, and accepting behaviorsā¦Ā
