Poem -

Into Darkness

Into Darkness

I fall to the cold hard ground,
and my tears soon become like an acid against the skin.
Deep from within the scars of my soul.
I fade further and futher into shadow.
Where every shattered piece of my heart lingers.
I scream, but the silence screams louder.
soon nothing but the darkness of my past consumes me.
The place I once called home soon becomes the prison
that holds me caged.
Tortured by the demons in my mind,
the night soon becomes an endless memory of misery driving me to maddness
And the darkness swallows me whole.

I liked the below lines

She screams, but the silence surrounds her,
soon nothing but the darkness of her past consumes her.
