MY SALVATION

Drifting at sea endlessly

Staying alive for the love of life, I am

indebted to God.

The hardiness of my struggle

could overcome me

but I shall continue on to find

the perfect place

where my contentment will reside.

If I loose God

the temporary madness will subside

for at the end of the rainbow

I will become victorious.

Drifting in all my illusions

I breathe the air that I breathe

and in Gods tolerance of me

He provides the Staff and the Rod

to paddle my way to destiny.

One day the Sun won’t be so harsh

as His Spirit shades me

from these torturous tribulations.

What else has a Man

when the World and ocean speak

and the clouds radiant beauty

opens the door

to a Gracious majesty?

Drifting my way to God

the purpose of my life will be fulfilled

for the oyster is His name

a pearl of unprecedented beauty.

My character of Spirit

will be forever changed in Him

as I allow Him to Guide me.

I am not alone on this journey

He gave me a Woman

who steers when I am lost in heart

who lifts the sails when I am weak.

I am solemn before the Lord

and as I beach land

the Light of His Love will follow me.

The Blessings conceived

are in the eyes of my beloved

and it is she I am fighting for.

In the poverty of my life

God will lift me with all certainty

and wrap my Soul in His arms

Unify me, and taketh away the darkness

as He had taketh away my freedom

so that I may find His eternal Light.

I will know darkness

and I will seek to be Saved by Him

for in my diligence

I will know and ask for forgiveness.

God steer me to Salvation

and breathe your wind to the shores.
