My Second Evolution

This is one of many evolution’s in my life, so I can’t begin, to have it be said,
that this is only the second evolution in my life, I would dread,

This is one that has happen oh so quietly, working away on my own personal psychology.

There are times in your life that before you know it; you have changed for the best,
You have worked on emotions and wrong full labels and tags and put them to rest,

Sometimes we let our own personal self's, talents and potentials get over looked,
Sometimes we put them down or we put them off, we sometimes feel over booked.

Now consider this no matter how strange it may sound,
But you’re in a room with your feelings sitting in chairs all around.

One be angry, one be sweet, one be gullible, one be boisterous and loud,
and one that won’t make a sound. One is maybe anxious, and one be nothing but ego, one be truly manipulative, there also be one that is pure of heart, and one the truth be bound.

As they sit there with scoring from anger, optimism from sweet, ignorance from gullible, overbearing connotations from boisterous and loud a two header monster no doubt, pacing from the one that be anxious, silence from the one who won’t make a sound, dictation of personal salvation and a little condemnation from ego, deceit from manipulation, honesty and concern from the pure of heart, and wisdom from the one the truth be bound.

For as they fight and as they try to be the winner of my mind and make it just a little emotionally blind.
This is where I step in and put things right I find, for no one truly rules my mind.

But all in all these feelings, thoughts and emotions always change,
It’s what makes someone feel just a little bit strange,

They sneak up on you sometimes, you never know there coming or that they where even there,
until they give you an unexpected psychological scare.

When you step in and have a talk with yourself, it’s the best thing for your mental health.

For ideas and thought and emotions not checked, can start to fight and wreak havoc.

Its the most basic thing to do, is to sometimes give your emotions a time out or two.

make sure they get plenty of rest and there not making your physical shell too stressed.

For when the mind is clouded in a true jumble of silly emotions,
there is no fixing your heart with a dozen magical potions.

You must take a leap of faith; you must change and grow within,
You must clean out your mind and heart and start to begin again.

If you do not begin and you do not try, then please don’t come crying asking me why,

un-cloud your mind first and this will clear your heart, its a beginning, a start.

To have an evolution you have to want to change, you have to want to grow.
you have to seek physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual knowledge to know.

To embrace all sides is how you can truly change, the game you play,
and become a new person not in a bit, or later, but today.

Cause changing is the only way to see the woman or man you could be that day,
I know you will get there and I know you will find you're way, at least that’s what I pray.

So remember once in a while sit your self down and maybe you will see,
That this was not the way you wanted it to be.

You never doubted you always had a plan to see you through the night.
You thought it would be better; you thought you knew right.

But now my friend I offer you a way to start a new,
Let’s evolve together and grow in all the stormy weather.

Until we flower a new evolution and a new way to love emotion
a new way to be more loving and true.

Instead of slaves to our primal emotion to fight for something not there, or run away pulling our hair

For when we give in to something different and something new, we might just find the real me and you, the one I see inside of me, the one I love inside of you.
For to your own self be true..
