Poem -

My snow globe of reality

Every year passes through our lives
As if we don't notice it getting stronger
12 years of Christmas we spent together
Now we look at the times and see we left
The hardest times in our holidays
Ironic it seems they should be happierĀ
Our family growing during winter times
The births near Christmas
The Thanksgiving and October birthday wishes
Everyone fighting for attention
Nobody receiving what they wanted it seems
We argue and fight together
Our worst days we blame on eachother
Not looking at whos fault the hurt truly lies from within
Not he said she said
Not if they did or didn't do
All these blasphemous actions that have happened to us
Are only the fault of ourselves
Our families have been and are quick to judge
The sides that we should be with
Who was wrong and who was right
It Drives a wedge between our worldsĀ
The love will only hold where we are meant to go
When our mistakes causes a rift
Our job to repair gets harder day by day
Yet the strength is my weakness
Passion is my resolve
To continue watching my years go by
The anger, the blaming, the hatred
The acceptance I am not enough and neither are you
The knowledge your True LoveĀ
Is always growing on you
In you
Around you
Imperfectly Perfected Through your time together
