My Son

He knows of my struggles,Â
not because they are familiar,
but because we talk.Â
He knows he’s loved unconditionally, because he has always came first.
He knows I’m not perfect, but he knows I continually try to be better, for both of us.Â
He knows the importance of work ethic, because he’s traveled cross country working with me.Â
He knows the importance of family, because together we have supported each-other.Â

Hi Robert,
Good - my poem 'Get a life'
is similar - the sons we bear!
Love,
