my soul, my flesh.

As I lay here in the dark
Anticipating his breath
Upon my skin,
Something awakening
deep within,
My soul, my flesh
This heart can't take
Another sorrow
His heart I long to keep
Not borrow,
The touch of gentle air
Wisps warmly upon my breasts,
Beating faster then slow
to stop,
this heart
Within my chest,
Before surrendering
To his kiss
My final breath
giving in to his love
Of death.

Honorable Poetess Nardine Sanderson,
This is one of your recently posted bestΒ poems, I have read in COSMO with in a spectrum of twin angles of thoughts, both physical as well as spiritual involvements, my applause, my love, my vote, I love the below lines, wish to appreciate and review this verse, including its translation with your kind permission,
At this time, many things are changing in the world. We live a time of awakening and desire to change, never seen before. A lot of people become more conscious and aware of issues and practices that have lasted for too long and that must change. Many people now want to take their lives back into their own hands and escape the model imposed by society in order to really know happiness and live the life they truly want to live β not one dictated by elders, social connectivity's, identifications and all kinds of meaningless cliches many now want to get away from.
