Poem -
My Steppin' Stone
God has been my Steppin' Stone
Through thick and thin
He washed my feet with his blood
And promised to never leave me
So I could love again
God has been my Steppin' Stone
Always extending his hand
A gentle nudge - sometimes he does
To get me moving again
God has been my Steppin' Stone
With him I walk barefoot and unprepared
Trusting in his goodness
Cause he holds my life in his hands
God has been my Steppin' Stone
So I'll cross the creek again
To see what God has planned
On the other side I'll stand
Holding on to God until life ends
God has been my Steppin' Stone
