MY TIME TO SHINE
Sometimes when you think your life is starting to shine
worries creep in, throwing you off line.
Your mind wanders to peoples struggles,
your heart can not help,but feel their pain
You think of self preservation but its no good
you care so much, love so much, you ve always been the same.
Important matters get shelved, because someone needs your help
you help, but chaos reigns in your house now,ah lord give me strength!
And as i sit here writing, instead of sorting what is necessary,I should cry
I wont though! I chastise myself,I need to re focus I just need me,to realign
I will always care deeply for people, it is solidly built in my DNA
but I have belief my time will come to shine,tomorrow is another day...
