Poem -

My Walk

If I asked you to walk with me How many steps would you take

Would you stop and wonder is this all a mistake

If I asked you to walk with me Would you stay by my side

Or would you abandon me in my darkest time

If I asked you to walk with me Would you weather the storm

Or would you tell me you can't handle the burden you want me no more

If I asked you to walk with me How far would you go

Knowing my heart was heavy would you help carry my load

What if I reached out for your hand would you turn and walk away

How would you feel if you knew I was alone and afraid

If you send me walking by myself would you ask me why

Or would you leave me knowing to yours filled my eyes

I have started walking I know my journey will be long

But I have to know will you be there in the end when I find my way home
