My wish

Hi Lord, it's me!
How are you?
We haven't spoken in a while. 
But I just wondered when you plan,
On giving me a child.

I'm not quite sure,
Do you remember?
That little wish of mine?
I'm kinda worrying you forgot,
Or maybe got lost for time.

It's my birthday soon,
Another year older,
There's only one thing I request,
To bear a child of my own,
I'll do my very best!

Nearly everyone has had them
Maybe one or two or three,
But when do you plan to getting round to giving one to me?!

Please do not forget me,
It's not a massive ask,
But please Lord,
Don't take too long,
And fulfil my wish at last.
