NAMELESS HEADSTONE ---- BY DEED POLL

Turn right past all the Thorny  crowns
follow the rivers red in fame
keeping clear of the friendless clown
dont halt when the music plays
then the trees begin to pray

crowded bottles shield futures slay
in between them light murders day
telling stories to the fool again
lonesome tales,traced in rings and ripples
i see the kiss it walks into another door

last suppers slashed wrist
cursed colours seek a cure
while broken myths feast on tired fires
bending flowers break the neck
to see who slew desires god

somewhere in the dark room
 glowing caves spit a chance
abandoned arteries romance
wine stains for partners
shaven headed old men
line up executioners ;
and long forgotten payment plans

outside in frozen door
tall shields raise creations flag
mountains move along the bar
because the promise becomes the bore
crimson is the trailing hand
its horror beneath the scheming flaw

Thieves crept into my smile
dug fresh its cemetery  lips
left without a headstone
