Nat Turner

Nat Turner

Before all the great African American men
There was one faithful soul named "Nat Turner"
He's my favor revolutionary hero
Most of his life time was miss used by suppression of white men

All the word in the dictionary couldn't put in words his meaning, but I will try my best
He was the backbone of African American man
Forced to watch others, and being at the whips lash of suppressors
I could imagin the strengths  within a hardboiled man

Engendering unthinkable harm to Nat, and watching his people go through damnable torment
That alone can break a person down physically and mentally
He overcame all by keeping his faith in God
Letting the holy words heal his mind and victimized body

Spreading gospel to heal his people also
His angelic language he spoken was so engrossing
Quite like Christ stoop behind Nat One hand on his shoulder, and whispering his words into his ear
Causing such a celestial presence

All the Simon Legree, also other slave driving man bought his godlike preaching
Benighted of his owner Joseph Travis consumed by greed
Joseph, thought of Nat as a implement against quarrelsome slaves
Regardless he was a tool of God

As Christ had disciples blessed with visions, so did Nat receiving his own
Revealing his forknowlege of his people who chose to rebel
Giving them comfort, and swallowing the fear of their earthly masters
Finally the forthcoming of God's sign to fight appear in a eclipse

Therefore their rebellion began
Using all the weapons hidden around their plantations
Together they all smite down any white oppressor
Who came in their way, and all who conflicted bloodshed upon African Americans

Though many on both sides of this movement died
White's were killing their own slave for amusement
Causing the weight of it all to bare down on Nat Turner
He shortly gave himself up bravely
Sacrificing his body to leave this hell on Earth, and giving his people peace momentirly

Despite the fact he was quickly hung afterward
His dead body treated cruelly and in a unjustified manner
His faith stayed stout through it all, and those who believed in his devoted words of God gained hope
This is why this man is my hero

He overcame all who belittled his faith
He fight for what was right, and gave empowerment to those in need
Liberating them all a short time
His people's freedom, his own, and his spiritual earthly being

Not letting any human figure take that from himself
For just a few days of peace and free will
If that doesn't overrule all doubt
Then kill me as I was Nat, so I can go in good faith to heaven
To stand humbled in his heavenly spirit

Hey man it gives me honor. To make a person of your ability of writing proud. I hope to inspire all those who have doubt. I hope to open the eyes of hate, and spit in it eyes with love. I hope we can look at our neighbors as family. Giving help to those in need, and courage to those who feel belittled. Don't judge because it isn't our place to do so. Live free die willingly!
