Natural Beauty

Mother nature
The daughter 
of earth and water,
sun and flowers 
in her hair,
her newborn awaken
with astonished eyes,
to Earth´s sweet music
of birdsong, whispering leaves
and rivers and streams
in laughing light.

The sun upon the sand
the fragile held firm
in steady hands,
The growth from seeds
of wildflowers and trees,
The young to old and their forever joy
the shine of moonlight
through darkest night,
the sun´s flame dancing bright
the sparkle in dewy eyes.

The warmth and light
that radiates from within,
upon floating poppy hearts
to shine magnificent,
entwined in infinite souls
to drape and embrace
the wretched and lonely
in the hue and warmth of fiery gold.
