NATURE IS IN A GOOD MOOD TODAY
Today the meadows are steaming,
Beaming,
Dribbling with life
Insects are gliding,
Sliding,
Belly full and quick eyes
The birds are coming, insets running,
The worms hide
Deep in the ground
Leaves rustle, when the wind whispers,
Sending to heavens
The dandelion seeds
Not needing invitation
The weeping willow lifts his arms
To join the celebration
Morning is pleasing
The sun is teasing,
Clouds seek, he hides
Lambs join the fare
Make a huge commotion
Leaping high in the air
Bees amuse, sit in the corner
Then kiss the flowers
To see them blush
Clouds open, the lambs have no choice
The meadows rejoice
Rain is coming to play.

This is such a joyous poem. I love the rhymes and the quirkiness of their distribution and some of the verbs you use are great. "Beaming, dribbling (I particularly like this one) and gliding. Also, as a lover of clouds and the stories they tell, I like how you make them part of the party. The 2 words "he hides" are perfect as well to describe the sun bashfully going behind the clouds. But I really like how rain is not seen as an unwelcome visitor to this scene but is embraced by all the other participants. Lovely words my friend.
You have just made an old fella smile BIG .. not only that, you reminded me of why I first fell in love with poetry .. bravo Bernadette .. Neville
