Navigator

Boss you where a pilot so I can trust you to navigate well.
Boss you also have boy scout leaders qualities.

Driven a boat or two, told me my navigator was off track.

That a skipper finds something, almost out of sight on the horizon and navigates straight toward it.

Then pulls their load forward.

I want to navigate better.

To block out the sides but still be aware.
To move forward out of any dispersal.
Avoid any discomfort.

And find my inner navigation.
For a part of me is off course.

Have to stop, reevaluate the surroundings, is it salt or sugar they look alike.
Is it a very sunny day with a very grey night.

Is what's ahead scarily out of the sight,,, more a mirage.

Should I navigate that way, anyway it may be real, figment, bright light, pearly gate.
Stick it out, there is more to say.
Maybe you can effect others in a positive way, manner and poise.
You.
That conversation.
You, that destination.
You.
Your number is up.
Horizons here I come.
Boss thank you for the polite tests of my navigation.
For telling me to stop and go and pull my harnesses forward and pull my load.

For reminding me about walking in straight lines.

Having a side view there but not closing in.

Being Me

This is such a clever write. I think most of us find that our navigation is out....and we find ourselves a bit lost. We need to keep on that straight road ahead... but it is hard with all those side roads to distract us. We definitely need our navigation system to be working effectively...or we will suffer for it x
