Near Death Experience

I fell on a metal post, thought it went thro' my heart,
when I awoke, I realised it was time for a new start;
try being decent to people instead of so smartass,
a new direction, I'd been told to reset my compass.

Someone said that if they win money, they're going south,
but if you live in Australia, they may say they're going north;
how many lessons do you need before knowing what you lack,
Zen tells us: as long as it takes, you'll keep coming back.

Why? For what purpose? To see he doesn't win a competition,
but you tell us to keep going by means of stupid repetition;
next time you won't see my heels, know how losing feels,
then back to heaven, drivng a big set of alloy wheels.

Zen tells us: I'm Indian, not chinese or japanese origin,
when you die, I'll make sure to tell you where to begin.
