Poem -
Never Been Loved
Damaged mind,
Grieving heart,
Abandoned, deserted, renounced,
Right from the start....
Never wanted,
Never received,
Never loved,
Only conceived.
Why am I here?
Why did they bother?
No integrity, regard, respect or honour.
Brought into this world with nothing to my name.
Only to be shown hurt, rejection, dislike and disdain.
People wonder why I am this way,
Sometimes I find it hard to convey.
This miserable life I was set up to lead,
My aching heart that will never be freed.
