Poem -

~ Never such death~.

We lay there underneath the cover's
in darkness
Waiting for the storm to surpass

The only light,
a single spark eminence
of the last fight
~ the war
Of our aching soul's

surrounded by Nothing
But emptiness everywhere
In a house without the power
To heal our heart's,

Praying for electricity
hoping lighting would strike
Us dead,

The thought's of love to revive
Our thunderstruck hearts
within the silence,

Violence within the sky
Weeping mostly raindrops
Upon our pain
Denied to enter our realm
~ nothing became

Nothing more to give , fallen
Falling down,

The lightning strikes not
Our tomb, this room

Our heart's untouched by light
Darkness eloped the leftovers
Beneath the covers
that silent night ,

No death, nor revival of love
~ just emptiness the war
Our soul's,

Left to the aching
Beneath the sheets where fires
Once passionately burned,

Never such a death by striking
Had each our hearts discerned.
