new life

brooding silently in the darkness
i vision my past life
what example's can i take from it
for me to take my flight
like the wing's of a dove
i suddenly spread
taking all negative memory's
i lay them to bed
feeling free to rise
above old grievance's and plea's
time to fly fresh and new
over dark land's,gloomy sea's
love and peace be my mission
over all my past be said
taking in what iv'e been through
a silent moment an example
of the pain hurt and strife
a minute in time has helped me
for the new upcoming life
pain and misery
self harm and inner blame
from now my wing's will never stop
never be the same
the light is seen in darkness
a blessing i will take
a runway for my takeoff
a journey i will make 
as i eat the peace bread
