A New Life

I'm trying to find something to base my life upon,
The day of a new dawn something in this strange world that goes on and on. 
As the time fades away, what used to be "good days" are now filled with dismay.
Tomorrow comes, and then becomes yesterday remembering my sorrows using them to mold me
my ambition to become something more grows and grows tiered of chasing the life I choose.
time for something new a better life im ready to pursue.
Around the corner, yet miles away,
The life I want now gets closer each day.
All I've ever wanted was something to live for,
I don't want to be that person anymore.
I've been basing my life upon what others think.
I wish I could go back and redo everything, every time an eye would blink but I know I can't so I just have to rethink
My internal fight will illuminate the path to become who I want to be I have to remind myself that one day I will be free, life is no longer mild and everything is not a game so higher and higher I aim for my salvation I'll resist all temptation and strive to be my best put myself to the test nothing left but to progress times have changed and I realize nothing is fair, and the truth is nobody even cares.
I understand now that I'm on my own, all the time I think about everything I can't say, what I have to keep in, which makes my thoughts severely  deepen.
Soon I hope to find out who I am and what I'm meant to become. I dont know where I'm going but I know where I've been now with this knowledge I'm ready to begin.
