New year

don't fear
its new year
and let's hope for a better one
thats easy to say
but have a care
for sometimes
the want to hear these words is not there
but don't dwell on the response you receive 
because this person may be in need
and may not be able to see past there own grief 
because some suffer more than most
and this is hard to perceive 
so next time you see someone that seems all alone
make a difference 
help others as you would hope someone would help you
even just a friendly smile will do
the impact of your wonderful deed
could help someone who really is in need
i the difference you may of had in that persons life
may be why tonight nobody took their own life
