Ni maith go leor

Ni maith go leor

How can I gain some self respect
When everyplace I leave a smoldering wreck
With every impossible feat I learn
I still have to turn around , and watch it burn

How do I learn to gain control
Over that which aims to break my soul
I fail and falter on broken ground
Yet somehow left stranded whenever you're around

How am I unsafe with Shield in hand
Your the only one that makes me sad
Every mountain I construct
Is a stone or pebble , not good enough

How can I help you to understand
That love and life need no command
All that I have aimed to becomeĀ
Means so much less with feelings numb
