Nifty Fifty ?

Who said it was nifty to be fifty
I don’t believe they had a clue
Its so much better to be thirty
Those twenty years makes a difference to you

Speaking from experience
I’m well in my fifty years
I haven’t got the energy
Its like I’ve lost a load of gears

I need a tonic, a special zest
Perhaps a motorised vest
To boost my vigour & relight my spark
So I can stay awake when it gets dark

I used to be so full of vigour
But I think I’ve broke my vitality trigger
I’m early into bed so tired out
Yet I cannot sleep, what’s that all about ?

Fifty years young haha 
I can tell you that’s a joke
Some days you wake up 
Feeling like your gonna croak

Especially in the wintertime
When you don’t see alot of light
The darkness & the lack of sun
Can make you feel your in a plight

Nevermind me ranting on
Just you wait & see 
I’m guessing you will be lacking 
Gusto
When you are in your fifties 
Just like me ?
