The night

The night

The night has arrived.

She is here to talk to me.

She knocks at my door

And I don't want to answer.

The night has arrived.

I don't see her,

But I feel her burning inside.

Oh night, why have you come

And why do you beg

For a heart I have not felt

A soul I don't possess.

The night has arrived.

I don't see her,

But I feel her taking me.

"Now it is time

To let go of the past.

Time to search no more

Time for peace, at last."
