The Night Watch (Assembled at Dark)

The group has gathered

A mass of humanity sharing a similar goal

They all wish to investigate

Reports of supernatural presence in their area

The proud leader, clothed in ebony

And further shrouded by the blackness of the night time,

Attempts to display authority in his movement

But his expression reveals his underlying fear

His assistant, fully clothed in pearly white

Offers him emotional support, knows his terror

The two acknowledge their surroundings comrades

They notice the paleness of their associates features

They see their ally’s gradually become transparent

And then emit a chilling echoed yelp in unison

The leader and his assistant find their fear increasing

A discovery has been made by the two

The supernatural presence is found.
