Hello nightfall

 my old friend.

I come to visit you again.

When your gentle

light is blue.

with your shadows falling

in purple hue.

When sleep will not come

and memories are calling

until the new sun.

In the darkness

I think of you.

In the place where

my thoughts are blue.

Morning is so far away

with it light and

newborn day.

Sometimes

in your charcoal shadows

I can see again

Who caused

my sadness

and my pain

It was me.
