Nightmares

Nightmares germinate when there’s no one listening 
So entangled up in the past;
Heart and soul stiffening 
Not wanting to be last:
I don’t want to be here 
Living life out of fear
Life cuts deep like a knife;
Abhorrence this life 
We’ll all be dead in the end 
Life I endeavour to amend;
Why cry?
Hearing this lacerating lie
When your life is slipping away
Perceiving my life turning grey:
Drowning in my own blood 
Gushing out making a flood,
Everyone’s turned a blind eye 
Lamenting life wanting to die
I’m so worthless,
Colossal mistakes being mirthless
I belong somewhere on my own 
Drowning deeper all alone;
No ones here by my side 
I wish that I could die.
