Nine Lives

What’s the matter boy,
Cat got your tongue?
You, who’s supposed to be strong…
Since letting folk down
You’ve cried the tears of a clown
Because that’s what you were all along.

Those nine lives used up,
There are no more saviours,
You were always aware of the dangers,
So the Gods up above
Have destroyed what you love,
Left you pouring your heart out to strangers.
