Ninety Nine Bottles of Beer
Ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall, ninety-nine bottles of beer;
Each represents one gut-wrenching day, since with us, you have been down here!
They’re all filled to the brim with the “Ail” of our souls, and spirits that on that day died;
And pain’s saturation in the core of our hearts, with the teardrops that we ever cry!
.
If only these bottles had been a large keg, for that, at least we could stop;
And save what little, that we still have left, of our sanity, soon set to drop!
Or maybe we should just be abstemious, for we can no longer drink in your love;
Fate’s Prohibition, took all that away, said “my laws you are not above”!
.
Oh how we long to guzzle you down, inundate our now empty hearts;
Inebriate ourselves, with the beauty of you, the drunken revelry start!
But our lives are now dry, the spirits all gone, two Teetotalers e’er so bereft;
For the source of our everlasting love’s highs, some ninety-nine days ago left!
.
.
Spirited away
As you took your final gulp
We drank in horror

It’s like Cherie said they will push past people in heaven to be the first in line to see you.Take comfort in that.All the best.
Dear Barbara,
Such beautiful thoughts. I can see them not being able to move someone, and giving them a little love nip on their ankle to get by. Thank you for your lovely words.
Hugs, Peace and Love,

of them.Walking love on a leash.Hugs.

I'll you one of mine now. I used to call them our "Love Sponges".
