Poem -

No away To Tell

There’s no way to tell,
Just by looking at your outer shell
That you’d raise a hand,
To make a killing blow.

There’s no way to see,
Before you and me,
What kind of person
You will be

You raised your fist
Above my head
Pulled my hair
Blood you shed

You cried an apology
You shed your tears
But most of all
You gave me fears.

I’ve cried more than I should
More that I could
But I’m tear free
And being me

So you raised your fist
Above my head
Pulled my hair
Blood you shed
