No escape...

No escape...

I try to try,

to do my best.

But the pounding in my heart,

plays the pain in my chest.

So many are too nice,

and considerate too,

But I always think twice,

Is it the right thing to do?

My heart is trapped,

going cold and going to harden.

It wants to escape ,

to a vile free garden.

But it seems there is no way out,

I'm feeling like a squashed grape.

I want to scream and shout,

but there's no escape...

OMG... Yes, I know that feeling all-too-well... Where your chest just doesn't feel big eggnog to contain the activity going on there. Of course we need blood, oxygen, nutrients, and enough experience in life to know that there are hold and troughs, ups and downs, inhales and exhales as well... We will indeed survive, and be stronger for it!
