NO ESCAPE

Tears can no longer express my emotions.

My eyes have been dry for too long.

I'm locked in a room with no escape.

I result to only a small barbed window that helps me see the positive side in life,  and a small crack beneath it letting me know there is still hope.

They say god chokes but never kills,

But who would've known a person could survive such pressure.

Confusion is my guide and regret is my shadow.

I just hope that one day

The window opens

The crack forms a hole

Or that god loosens his grip.
