Time for a happy-go-lucky poem

No more doom and gloom

There's enough of that stuff going around

Life's just one big cartoon

Live and laugh and have a ball

Nothing's really gonna change

So kick up your heels and sing out loud

Though some may think you're deranged

Who knows, it could be contagious

Soon the whole world will be having a ball

Imagine, you could be the reason, my friend

For peace to come to us all

Am I a dreamer, guess you could say that I am

Might as well try it, whatcha think

Nothing else has worked up until now

Let's try before we're right on the brink

So kick up your heels and dance around

Others will follow your lead

All the world is waiting for is someone

To step forward and plant the seed
