Poem -
no more + only so
you have to peep to see the sun
i mean truly peep
in places unfamiliar and mostly
happened upon
when seeking something entirely
other
and then you find it, peeking in
uninvited between that gap in the
curtains and it captures you
just like that
truly capture's you
alighting playfully on your face
and on your hair and you are
amazed for a moment...truly
amazed
that it is here, right here, and not
at all...up there...
and so you capture it, your hands
reached out, eyes widened wide
with the wonder of child
and for moments and few
for no more and only so,
you are everything you need to be
sense all there is to ever really know

This is soooo beautiful. Those moments, those fleeting moments that catch you right off your guard! Those moments are to treasure ... but we tend to forget them too easily xx
Hi Tina I'm pretty sure most of us at some point( or several) in our lives have those intense periods of ( for whatever reason) shutting the world out and literally becoming prisoners of darkened rooms. Again...so very true. I love seeing previously invisible things like a sudden revealed ray of sunlight in a dark room...it gives me hope that there is so much more hidden from our daily sight x
this has got pretty near everything that this old fella looks for in a poem .. blindingly brilliant is but an understatement .. I can still feel the shiver of knowing playing havoc with my spine .. x
