No Shadow

No Shadow

There was this little shadow
I chased it for a while
Couldn't catch or grab it
Just like an abstract dream
Was I just falling
In between the floor tiles
Holding onto a little dot
Losing focus, losing reality
Pushing, chasing and clawing
I am no longer blind

Their reality is no more
As it does not matter anymore
There is no shadow, only me
It faded away with it all
And so here I was
In this little incomplete world
As there was nothing to chase
I was not longer lost
Ripping it all away
I am no longer a pet
