No Tomorrow!

No Tomorrow!

Bleed thou heartΒ
In cruel dismay
of every broken tomorrow
from so happy yesterday
So blue the shade
of heart once bouncedΒ
off rainbow winds
till fate announced
Doth flow the tears
to spill and sting
that drown the soul
an abyss to bring
Lay down a head
to touch goodbye
so comfort be
with the Angels to lie
Where future bloomed
and larks did call
of happiness in climb
alas to fatally fall
No seeds to sow
no joy to reap
the hourglass tips
all sand to seep
So sad the hourΒ
a heart in shattered
no rescue resurrection
A spirit too battered
Just ashes to scatter
and blow to foreverΒ
A player in Love's game
thus the winner 'never'
