No warranted love from dogs

A score of rain you sang.
The man I pretend to be I am.
No warranted love from dogs.
You went out, you went out
And you were told not to!
You went out on love,
Two souls lost
Nursed by the Hill's hoist,
Still like a paused cat,
In a photograph.
