Me myself and you
 
Here we go again, me sitting on my own.
It’s another night, inside I feel alone.
Started great, we were on a high,
On this path alone, I often wonder why.
 
Don’t get me wrong; you and me are fine,
Everyone knows the truth, she is always mine.
At times we disagree, on when we go to sleep,
Guess nobody’s perfect, my heart is hers to keep.
 
We talk all night; we don’t have to try,
Things that people do, sometimes I have to lie.
But when it comes to us, I’ve never felt so sure,
Love I hold inside my heart will always be so pure.
 
If you don’t know what I mean, never been in love,
Understand where you are, not yet struck from above.
Not talking angels, and all that comes with that,
Until you have been burned, wont know how to react.
 
The skies are blue; the birds will sing your song,
Can’t beat this feeling inside, she can do no wrong.
Your boys all tell you so, you just can’t understand,
The life that you’re living now, nothing like you planned.
 
If we take it back a step, you were always keen,
Don’t ever treat them like you do, always keep it mean.
I respect you as a friend, always gave the best advice,
We all know where boys end up, when they act too nice.
 
It’s like I seen this all before, you would always know,
The advice you gave me in the past, you were like a pro.
But now it’s not the same, you settle for second best,
I hate feeling like this, putting our friendship to the test.
 
Don’t ever ask the question "are me and you ok?"
It makes me feel so low inside, almost want to pray.
Only get one chance in life, choose happiness my friend,
Words I say wont mean a thing, best man to the end.
