Nostalgia
Crumbled leaves nostalgic smell,
Amber crumbs in palms dwell.
Wind-kissed cherry cheeks aglow,
Fat clouds gray threaten snow.
Tractor fumes fill the air.
Aged corn rows stripped bare,
Snowbirds ramble on parade.
Laughing Children masquerade
Smiling pumpkins twilight glow
Squirrels busy with winter stow
Espied leaves raining down,
Keepers nurse blotchy ground.
Time falls back an hour,
Helios hosts waning power.
Swirling leaves in the sky.
Barren branches wave goodbye

Hi Lisa,
It's been a while. If I may be so bold...is Halloween your favourite season? You always write some very good poems around Halloween time.
